With me you get full-wedding and event planning services. Whether it’s the creative and design side of things, navigating the admin that comes with getting married in a foreign country or the logistics, we’ll handle the various aspects that go into planning a fabulous event so that you can relax and enjoy the journey.
The first step is our initial complimentary consultation, where we get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit to work together. We’ll talk about the ideas you have and the kind of wedding you’ve envisioned. We’ll also talk about us and what you can count on when you work with me.
Once you’ve booked my services, I’ll start looking for the perfect venue for you. Portugal is a fantastic location for your wedding as it provides a variety of options: palaces and castles, wine estates, urban chic venues, boho country estates, private villas, etc. It all comes down to what will work best for you and I’ll shortlist the options that best suit your style. If it is not possible for you to travel to the venues, I’ll put together detailed info packs and arrange virtual tours so that you can get a feel for the options, as close as possible to an in loco visit.
Once the venue is sorted, we move on to the design phase. I’ll prepare several mood boards detailing the concept, colours, and other ideas for each event and/or moment of the wedding day.
I’ll then source, with you, a team of the most talented professionals that will help us to bring the wedding and related events to life. You’ll keep track of the planning process because I’ll prepare a detailed timeline that is simple for everyone to follow and that ensures that everything is happening when it should. You’ll be updated regularly so that you know what my team and I are doing for you and to ensure that you’re happy with the way things are developing.
On the day of the wedding, we’ll be with you from the start. Our team will support you and the bridal party, manage the vendors from build to tear down, we’ll keep the event running to schedule and doing everything to ensure that you’re having the best day.
The answer to this question is that it depends on what type of wedding you have, the number of guests, the time of year… Based on your ideas and wishes, and on the concept that we develop together, I’ll prepare a comprehensive budget for you so that there are no surprises further down the line.
We don’t set a minimum budget per se, but minimum fees apply in some cases. We usually charge a flat rate for our services which, in turn, depends on the level of support we’ll be providing you with and the number of associated events.

I encourage my couples to work, where feasible, with the local community. Be this through the catering provider by sourcing local products and seasonal produce, using seasonal flowers for the florals or local vendors and artisans when acquiring items for the wedding such as decor, welcome gift bags, favours, etc.
More often than not, the food prepared for the wedding and/or welcome and rehearsal dinners is not all consumed, and we partner with local organisations to distribute this food to those in need of it, immediately after the event.
Furthermore, where materials acquired for the wedding can be reused, I donate these to local charities or organisations who can reuse them in their day to day activities such as arts & crafts activities for the elderly or children.
The vendors I work with are also very sensitive to the importance of operating in a sustainable manner and, together, we implement measures we consider to be steps in the right direction. Examples of this are reducing the use of single-use plastic, such as that used in packaging materials and containers, or looking for the most efficient transport solutions for guests and staff.
